Product Details

IMSA 51-7 HDPE Tube Loop Detector Cable is a single 19-stranded bare copper inductance loop conductor, in a loose cross-linked high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation jacket, encased in either black or orange PVC or PE outer tube sheathing.

51-7 HDPE detector cables are available in 12 and 14 AVG configurations and boast a light cable weight between 26 -31 lbs/MFT. 51-7 cable possesses temperature ranges between 60-75 degrees Celsius and a voltage rating of 600V. The lightweight structure of the cable allows for year-round maintenance and increased flexibility in the installation process.

51-7 detector cables lend their practicality in underground duct or buried installations where sensitive and metered vehicle detection and/or high-density traffic systems and circulation management is needed.

Product Highlights:

  • The 51-7 HDPE tube configuration is a lightweight alternative to related 51-7 PVC models; the HDPE holds cable weight speculations at a range of 26-31 lbs/MFT
