General Cable Switchboard Wire Class B Type SIS and Type SIS/XHHW-2 600V VW-1 UL ULTROL® 60+

This switchboard wire is used in areas where optimal performance is required under exposure to extreme heat or cold. It has longer thermal endurance and displays ideal mechanical cut-through properties. The wire may be used in low voltage applications, especially in interconnections of protective devices that require the flame retardancy feature. It is suitable for wet or dry conditions and withstands temperatures of up to 90 degrees Celsius. Through the annealed tinning process, the wire becomes resistant to corrosion and oxidation and has enhanced strength.

Applications :
• ULTROL® 60+ SIS is a 600 V single insulated conductor, thermoset, Class 1E rated switchboard wire
For use in Class 1E low-voltage applications in operation and interconnection of protective devices where optimum performance is required and where flame retardancy is critical
• This conductor cable is used to supply power to switchboard in areas of high voltage use. It may be used in power supply to interconnection of protective devices, especially in areas where great performance and flame retardancy are essential.

Insulation :
• Flame-retardant, heat-, moisture-, sunlight and radiation-resistant, thermoset ULTROL® 60+ Cross-linked Polyethylene (FR-XLPE)
• Color code: Gray
• Using a cross-linked polyethylene material, insulation is done on the cable. This insulation, due to the treatment it has undergone, it makes it a thermoset meaning that it cannot melt, drip, or flow when it is exposed to heat. The insulation material undergoes a cross linking process to make it resistant to moisture, fire, sunlight, radiation, and heat.
