Product Details

These soft annealed tin coated copper and silver coated copper strands are medium weight wall cables. They are designed for applications of up to 600 volts and operating temperatures of up to 150 degrees Celsius. The tin or silver coating on the cables allows for enhanced performance and greater thermal stability.

Applications

• These cables may be used in missiles, shipboards, avionics, airframes, and military vehicles and other electronic applications

Insulation
• Irradiation cross-linked extruded Polyalkene (PVDF)
• A dual layer of cross-linked extruded Polyalkene (PVDF) is used to protect the cable. PVDF resists chemicals, fire, heat, abrasion, and weather. It is a highly flexible material with good thermal stability. The lightweight insulation is a low-cost option for insulating cables.

Jacket
• Clear Irradiation cross-linked extruded Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)
• This jacketing material provides resistance to abrasion, notch propagation, cut through, shrink back, and chemical substances.
