RSCC Aerodefense SAE AS22759/41 and 42 Normal Weight Wall Cross-Linked ETFE Cable

RSCC Aerodefense SAE AS22759/41 and 42 Normal Weight Wall Cross-Linked ETFE Cable

Product Details

These normal weight wall cables are made of nickel plated copper and nickel plated high strength copper alloy. The nickel plating allows the cables to have high thermal performance and although they can be soldered, active flux is needed to allow their solderability. The cables are used in applications with temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius and voltage of up to 600 volts.

Applications
• For use as normal weight wall cable
• Used in avionics, shipboards, missiles, military vehicles, airframes, and other applications

Insulation
• Dual layer irradiation cross-linked extruded ETFE
• The insulation is made of cross-linked extruded ETFE material. This insulation is dual layered and contains different pigments to easily show signs of wear or mechanical damage from physical abuse in time of use or installation. Cross-linked ETFE is resistant to chemicals such as lubricating oils, high pH cleaning products, and fuel. It is a tough material that is flame retardant. It also resists abrasion, radiation, and cold flow. On top of that, it has good outgassing properties. It also provides weight saving solutions especially in aerospace applications.
