LSPIis a military cable made of stranded and nickel-coated copper conductors which are insulated with extruded silicone rubber. Its’ insulation is shielded with a glass braid that is color coded in white or black. The cable is instilled with polyethylene terephthalate film and approved by the Standard Identification Code of method 4. Seacoast Type LSPI cable is jacketed with a silicone rubber and armored with a tough aluminum strip for protection.

Features
Its copper conductors are nickel-coated preventing them from corrosion. Silicon rubber insulation limits direct contacts between the user and the conductors thus keeping the user safe from electric shocks. Insulation of the conductors also prevents contacts between them and the grounding wires.

Applications
This type of seacoast cable is for use in marine wiring.
