Seacoast LSMCOS cable has multi conductors made of bare and stranded copper wires. The copper conductors are insulated usinga cross linked polyethylene or EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber). Every conductor meets the special identification requirements as per Method 3. Size 5 of Type LSMCOS cable has one shielded pair colored black-white with three singles whereas the size 6 has two shielded pairs with two singles; they are all cabled with fillers, wrapped with a binding tape and jacketed with polyolefin.

Features
The conductors are color coded making them easy to identify especially during installations. The use of Ethylene Propylene Rubber or the cross linked polyethylene insulation adds tothe flexibility of this cable over a wide temperature range as well as improving its safety against corrosive industrial chemicals and deformations.

This cable is jacketed with a layer of polyolefin, which gives it a superb protection to withstandharsh outdoor environmental conditions experienced during and after installations. Marine environment is very demanding with strong waves, salts, silts and water which calls for proper jacketing materials like this polyolefin.

Applications
Seacoast Type LSMCOS cable is intended for use in harsh marine environments to supply power at 600 voltages.
