Applications: Surprenant EMZ® cables were designed to be used on ships, where high levels of shielding are required. The cables can be used outside the hull of the ship, and has proven to save money over the current method of pulling cables thru conduit, which is labor intensive, and difficult to use. It can also be used inboard, allowing cables to be placed closer together without concern of interference from other cables. These constructions are non-watertight. The overall jacket is an irradiation cross-linked low smoke polyolefin. The cables are available in many sizes and configurations, and custom designs are available on request.
