Overview: A compact, bend-optimized solution for the outside plant, LT 2.0 is a multi-purpose loose tube cable offering up to a 10% to 20% reduction in diameter depending on the design and up to 30% reduction in weight while meeting or exceeding RUS/RDUP and GR20 industry standards. This product platform utilizes bend-insensitive single-mode fiber to deliver superior bending tolerance and cold temperature performance

Applications: Multi-purpose outdoor - aerial lashed, duct, direct buried

Constructions: Dielectric, armored, double armored, dual Jacket (armored designs)

Fiber Count: 4 to 456 fibers in color-coded buffer tubes

Fiber Types: G657.A1 or A2 bend-insensitive single-mode

Options: Dry buffer tubes

Other Versions: Loose tube with 2.5 buffer tubes for indoor, outdoor, indoor-outdoor applications

Performance: ICEA 640, RUS 7 CFR 1755, Telcordia GR-20 and IEC 60794-3-11

Registered Supplier: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TL 9000, and OHSAS 18001

Features and Benefits
Up to 20% Smaller Than Standard Loose Tube Cable
• Counts up to 456 can be placed in a 1-inch duct
• Smaller, less-expensive duct can be used
• Can be placed into occupied ducts

Improved Reel Capacities
• Up to 40% more cable on a reel
• Longer lengths can be installed from the same reel or, smaller, lighter reels can be used
• Saves money on storage & overcomes pay-off limitations

Up to 30% Lighter Than Standard Loose Tube Cable
• Easier to handle during installation
• Less load on aerial structures
• Further reduces total weight (reel + cable)

Smaller Cable Bend Radius
• Easier to install in tight spaces
• Allows use of smaller pedestals and hand-holes

RDUP/RUS PE90 Compliant Cable and Buffer Tube
• Up to 20 feet of tube can be stored in closures

Smaller Buffer Tube Bend Radius
• Flexible 2.0 mm tube is highly kink-resistant
• Can be stored in a 20 mm radius with G657.A2 fiber
• More tube can be stored in a small space
• Allows use of smaller splice trays and closures

Bend-Insensitive Fibe
• ITU G657.A1 fiber is rated for bends down to 10 mm
• ITU G657.A2 fiber is rated for bends down to 7.5 mm
• Fully compliant to G.652.D SSMF specs

Improved Cable Entry and Preparation
• ezPREP® armor greatly improves mid-sheath cable entry
• Dual ripcords speed armored cable entry and outer jacket removal
• Dry core design speeds cable preparation
