This kit includes a Hammond 1590BB diecast aluminum enclosure along with a matching ProtoBoard 2-hole per strip PCB The aluminum is sturdy yet easy to machine, featuring lap joint construction that protects against dust and splashing water while also improving EMI/RFI shielding It is designed to conform to the IP54 standard for dust and water protection The enclosure has a vibra-finish to ensure a smooth surface without sharp edges.

The PR1590BB prototyping circuit board comes with a convenient 2-hole pattern, facilitating easy component connections while maximizing board usage It includes four mounting holes, and adhesive standoffs to eliminate the need for drilling in certain applications.
