Its a flexible multi- conductor cable insulated with non- chlorinated thermosetting polyolefin. Both the conductor which has been constructed as per the ASTM B- 174 standard and the insulation are jacketed with a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material.The cable used in mine lighting systems. It can as well be used in underground mining environment because of the extra tough characteristics brought into play by the TPU jacket.
