It is an example of Type SHD-GC power cable with high voltage ratings of 8000/15000/25000 volts. This is a heavy duty power cable that is made of three flexible and tinned copper conductors in accordance to ASTM B-172 and B-33. Amercable 3/C Mining cable comprises of; Ethylene Propylene Rubber insulation that is shielded with a semiconducting layer, ground checking conductor, grounding wire and the mold-cured Chlorinated Polyethylene jacketing.

Amercable 3/C mining cable is tested and approved to be in line with all the above listed compliances and branded as a quality cable, which is readily available to serve its purpose.

Features
It comes with flexible conductors that make it easy to install because it requires less effort. EPR insulation is semi-conducting thus preventing the user from getting electrocuted when handling the cable. The mold-cured Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) jacketing provides a superb protection to the cable from harsh environmental conditions. CPE inhibits fungal attack as well as chemical and mechanical damages thus improving the electrical conductivity of the cable, extending its service life.

Just like all the above discussed cables, this Type SHD-GC mold-cured cable is designed as a mining cable used in drag lines, dredges, shovels, drills and power feeders applications.
