Paired & Twisted RSCC Cable as the name would infer are silver plated copper conductors that are paired and twisted together. This cable is insulated and jacketed with a cross linked ETFE for safety.It is shielded with a silver plated copper offering 90 percent minimum coverage, limiting the conductors from overlapping.

Features 

1.Conductor
Silver plated copper conductors improves the electrical conductivity of the cable by preventing the conductors from damages associated with corrosive chemicals. Copper has a good thermal conductivity and good tensile strength making it resistant to deformations like creeping. Silver coating enhances thermal performance due to its operational temperature rating of 250 degrees Celsius. It makes it easy to solder the cable. This coating also provides a superb resistivity to crimp contact.

2.Insulation
The cross linked ETFE provides an excellent protection to the conductor. XLETFE has greater strength as compared to ETFE material. Cross linking enhances physical properties of the ETFE making it abrasive resistance, creep resistance and any kind of deformations. The insulation layer is also protective from strong sunlight radiations, and is normally considered as a gas resistance.

3.Jacketing & Shielding
Cross linked ETFE jacketing layer protects the insulation from direct chemical and mechanical damages. Shielding of Paired & Twisted RSCC Cable ensures smooth signal transmission by eliminating electromagnetic disturbances. It holds the conductors together preventing them from collapsing hence improving the electrical conductivity of the cable.

Applications
This cable is designed for spacecraft and marine installations, where voltage distribution do not exceed 600 volts. It can operate in wet and dry conditions that do not exceed 200 degrees Celsius.
