Prysmian and Draka Cable 18 AWG Bostrig Type P Multi-Conductor Armored and Sheathed 600V Control Cable

 

Bostrig Type P power distribution cables are made of similar products and intended to serve similar purposes, however they come in different sizes. This cable comes in size 18 AWG, made of annealed copper conductors that are in multiples and taped with a separating polyester and insulated with the XLPO. It is jacketed with the CPE or Arctic Neoprene as per IEEE 1580 standards that is armored with the braided bronze and sheathed with the Chlorinated Polyethylene. The cable is tested and approved worthy to serve its intended purpose in accordance to International Laboratory specifications.

Features
The superb XLPO and CPE insulation ensures safety of the cable and the user as well, as they offer superior resistance to moisture, oil, abrasion and deformations. Braided bronze armor also achieves the durability of this cable by protecting it against hostile marine environments.

Applications
Just like all the cables discussed above this type P Marine cable is also meant for offshore and onshore installation applications.
