Product Details

This type of audio cable comes in many pairs limited to the buyer’s specification. Its conductor pairs are insulated with a polyethylene dielectric compound that are individually shielded against each other, wrapped in an overall foil round the core and jacketed with a polyethylene. It is designed and meant for underground transmission method where it is installed through direct burial. This explains why it is made of complex layers around its core to withstand the rocky underground and moist environment.

Why go for this Cable?
This type of audio cable comes with its pairs individually shielded from each other. Shielding is a very important cable aspect as it improves the adaptive feature that enhance the cables’ life. It ensures that the conductors do not get into any contact by creating a permanent convenient boundary separating the conductors. When the conductors get into contact there could be failures in your wiring systems leading to shut downs of your equipment.

Multi pair audio cable is color coded on the outer surface with alphanumeric markings. You may not realize how important these numerical marks and color coding are, until you start installing this cable in your systems. Color coding along with the alphanumeric markings help in easy identification thus preventing confusion. This also helps in reducing termination time when connecting your equipment.

Don’t worry about incurring costs on other traditional water blocking tapes to cover your audio cable. Polyethylene jacketing and water blocking tape wrapped around its core offers great resistant to moisture. Polyethylene jacket keeps the cable safe by preventing chemical, abrasion and mechanical damages that may bruise the cable during installation.

Applications
It serves in microphone applications and analog audio installed through permanent direct burial.
