PowrServ Triplex Al Conductor XLPE Insulation UL 600V
Product Details
The triples XLPE is an awesome cable available at Nassau holdings that could help you with underground cabling solutions. This is a compact, well-hardened cable that’s easy to handle making well suited for its purpose to ensure high quality power reliance of high voltages of up to 600v. The Triplex 600V is composed of two black phase electrodes with one black neutral electrode, which are all encased with an extruded cross-linked Polyethylene insulator that is lead free. These electrodes are twisted together forming a triplex assembly. This cable is made of class B/SIW aluminum compressed at 1350-H19. All the electrodes are tested and proven safe in accordance to ANSI/ICEA S-105-692 as well as the UL 854, and listed as Type USE-2 cable.
Phase Identification
This is provided by the white print legend marks, with sequential footage marks on the one phase electrode, white printing legend marks on the other electrode, and a white printing mark on the third electrode and three extruded stripes in yellow. The yellow stripes arean identification mark of the triplex power serving cable.
Features
The Insulation material used in this cable is made of an extruded Cross-linked Polyethylene, which is lead free. The polyethylene coating is non-biodegradable and prevents the cable from rotting when buried under the soil. The coating gives the cable extra resilience as an added layer of protection from mechanical damages that may be caused by abrasion, cuttings and sunlight.
This cable can comply in wet or dry conditions, because it has a maximum electrode operating temperature of up to 90 degrees Celsius transmitting up to 600 volts.
Applications
The Triplex XLPE Insulation UL Type USE-2 XL cable was made primarily for Underground power supplying systems, functioning at 600V or less. I therefore recommend that when out on the look for an appropriate underground power transmission cable, take the Triplex XLPE Insulation UL Type USE-2 XL cable into consideration.
