To do the power transmission for three phase distribution system involves the use of a cable with three live conductors and a single neutral strand. Construction of the Cable

These conductors are twisted around an alloy of Aluminum in a reverse way. This property gives the cable the popular name of Reverse Twisted Secondary (RTS).
