The HW109 Instrumentation Cable 600 Volt UL Type TC, 90°C Multiple Conductor Overall Shield FR-EP Insulation CPE Jacket Tinned Copper Conductor cable features tin-coated, Class B, soft annealed copper conductors.  The annealed copper product used in this cable offers increased flexibility compared to standard copper.  The conductors align with ASTM standards B-33 for soft annealed copper and B-8 for concentric-lay-stranded conductors.  The conductors are individually insulated with flame-retardant ethylene propylene (FR-EP) rubber.  The insulated conductors are shielded with an aluminum-polymer tape providing 100% coverage with a flexible 7-strand tinned copper drain wire.  The cable’s exterior polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket is flame and sunlight-resistant and protects the conductors from abrasion.
