HMW-PE refers to High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. This cable is very unique and completely different with the other types of XHHW cables. It comes in different forms of copper conductors that can be soft drawn, medium hard or hard drawn depending on your choice. These conductors are insulated with a black high molecular weight polyethylene compound that is adaptive in harsh environment conditions.

The assembly is tested and approved worthy of its performance as per the following specifications:

1.ASTM B1 hard drawn conductors
2.ASTM B2 medium hard drawn conductors
3.ASTM B3 for soft drawn conductors
4.ANSI C8.35 or ICEA S-70-547
5.RoHS Compliance

Why go for this cable?
HMW-PE insulation is black color coded for easy identification and to avoid confusion during installation. An outdoor electrical distribution cable is exposed in demanding conditions and only special insulated cables would endure such conditions, which consists of corrosive chemicals and mechanical damages. HMW-PE power cable has a great adaptive insulation that protects it against harsh conditions.

This cable offers you different choices to pick from, as it comes in soft, medium-hard and hard copper conductors. You will not miss your choice when you go for it as compared to other cables that are directly made in one form thus limiting your choice that preferably suits your wiring systems.

Applications
It is designed for overhead power distribution installation applications. Make it your cable of choice and enjoy a reliable power flow in your equipment.
