RSCC Aerodefense Cable comes as lightweight cable with voltage operational rating at 600V and as a very lightweight cable with a voltage rating of 300V. It is made silver plated copper conductors that are not shielded but insulated with the cross linked ETFE, and jacketed for protection from the demanding environmental conditions. The cable is made of lightweight materials that meet all the necessary requirements of International Laboratory standards.

Features

1.Conductors
The copper conductors are unshielded but still provide excellent performance because they are silver plated. Plating makes the conductors resistance to corrosive chemicals thus improving the cable life. They are lightweight and flexible making the cable easy to install. Lightweight RSCC Aerodefense cable require less energy to move around hence cost effective since it is not labor demanding.

2.Insulation and Jacketing
Insulation and jacketing of Flexible Cross linked power distribution cables ensures safety of the user and the cable is not violated. The XL-ETFE keeps the user safe from electrocution because it does not conduct electricity. Insulation layer offers protection to the copper conductors from deformations and the punishing environmental conditions. The jacketing encases the insulation layer adding to its safety.

Applications
The lightweight and very lightweight Aerodefense Unshielded Cable is designed to serve power lines of voltages within the range of 300V to 600V. It is installed in spacecraft, ships or ship hulls.
