Conductors: Extra-flexible stranding (Class M), soft-drawn tinned copper; per ASTM B-33, ASTM B-174, and UL-62 for high flexibility and increased flex-life, easy solderability and corrosion resistance.

Separator: Paper separator for easy stripping.

Insulation: Color-coded oil-resistant thermoset 90°C insulation per UL-62 and ANSI/NEMA WC70 ICEA S-95-658 for easy conductor identification, excellent physical/electrical properties and suitablity for use in extreme oil and chemical environments.

Cabling: Conductors are cabled with non-wicking, non-hygroscopic, reinforced TPE fillers around a fiberglass strength member with an overall 100% cotton reinforced binder for increased mechanical strength/ impact resistance and exceptional resistance to oils and chemicals.

Jacket: Available in stock with bright yellow oil and flame resistant thermoset jacket per UL-62 and ANSI/ NEMA WC70 ICEA S-95-658 for safety visibility and suitability for indoor/outdoor use in oil and chemical environments where temperature extremes are a consideration.

•BOSTCORD™ Extra Heavy-Duty Portable Cord is designed and manufactured for use in flexing applications where flame, oils, chemicals, acids, abrasion, moisture, impact, tearing, and extreme temperatures are considerations. 
•Applications include limit switches, pendant push-button stations, extension cords, foot switches, proximity switches, conveyors, welding carts, retractable reels, and all types of portable tools and equipment.
