PowrNet® 600V Underground Network Cable

The PowrNet® 600V Underground Network Cable unique construction offers low-tracking, low-smoke, and reduced gas evolution in the event of a fire. This cable has a low coefficient of friction, which makes for easy pulling into existing duct systems, while also demonstrating excellent tear and abrasion resistance properties. The PowrNet® 600V Underground Network Cable is suitable for use in wet or dry locations and holds a temperature rating of 90°C. It is most often used in duct systems in congested urban networks.

The cable is constructed with a class B compressed copper conductors at the core. The annealed copper conductor is a more flexible alternative to standard copper, though it offers the same powerful conductive properties. The PowrNet® 600V Underground Network Cable is insulated with ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulation, which protects the cable from abrasion and corrosion and also prevents electrical leakage. A black low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant jacket serves as the exterior shell of the cable.
