• Seacoast 16 AWG Types T/NT, T/NTA, T/NTB Signal Cable Individually Shielded Twisted Pair 600 Volt

    Product Details

These are bare copper conductors made for use in marine environments. The shielded twisted paired conductors are used in applications of up to 600 volts. Cables have a sheath, PVC insulation, and PVC jacket.

    Applications
    • The cables are designed for use in marine environments including marine vessels, off shore drilling rigs, floating offshore facilities, and in fixed offshore and onshore facilities.
    • These conductor cables are used in applications such as signal transmission where there is need for twisted conductors and where shielding is needed to protect the installation against electrostatic or electromagnetic interference.
    • The cables may be used in fire and gas detection systems, in tank level indicator systems, communication systems, smoke detection systems, and in CO2 systems.

    Insulation and jacket
    • PVC
    • PVC resists oil, flame, chemical, sunlight, and abrasion.

    Sheathing
    • Nylon sheath
    • Nylon is used as an additional sheath over an existing PVC insulation to offer chemical and physical protection.

Armor : A bronze or aluminum armor may be used to provide superior crash resistance, cold bend performance, and cold impact performance.
