Product Details

A quadruplex Cable simply means that there are four wires in the cable, whereby three of them are live wires and one is a neutral wire thus can as well be referred to as a three phase cable. These conductors are made of aluminum with the three live wires insulated by a cross linked polyethylene and the neutral wire left bare. The three wires are then twisted round the supporting neutral wire. Aluminum is light weight and thus makes a good service dropping cable. For a quadruplex power cable to be used, it is proved legit as per the UL standards such as ASTM, SIW etc.

Why go for this cable?
You will agree with me that a three phase power supply is good as it is known to be efficient and reliable when it comes to driving big industrial loads. PowerServQuadruplex cable is a three phased and will ensure you smooth power supply in your wiring system. It has a high density cross linked insulation material that is strong enough to protect the cable against mechanical and chemical damages, and also withstanding high operating temperatures of up to 90 degrees Celsius without tearing.

Its phase identification comprises of four wires in which one of them is a neutral path and the other three are live wires hence the name three phase conductor. The phases are in white printings for easy identification.

Applications
Since quadruplex cables are three phase conductors, they are intended to serve in three phase overhead power distributions as service drop cables, in a secondary power transmitting line. It can as well be deployed in a secondary power line in which the distribution system has service splices, in either wet or dry temperatures not exceeding 90 degrees.

From the types of Low-Voltage Power Supply cables discussed above, it is clear that they serve power below 600V. These cables are insulated with different types of materials for protection and are intended to serve in different fields.
