Description:
• 2-2-4-6 Mobile home feeder cable is a four-conductor cable which is specifically made for service entrance applications in mobile homes. It comes with four aluminum conductors which include two phase conductors, one neutral wire and one grounding wire. The phase conductors are 2 AWG in size while the neutral and grounding wires are 4 and 6 AWG in size respectively. Its conductors are insulated using polyethylene jacket which allows for direct burial in circuits not exceeding 600 volts. This cable’s optimal ampacity when directly buried is 100 amps and optimal temperature rating of 90°C in both wet and dry areas.

Conductor:
• Compact stranded AA-8000 series Aluminum Alloy Class B stranding per ASTM B800 & B801

Insulation:
• Cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation.

Applications:
• Mobile Home Feeder wire is designed for use as service entrance cable which means that it can supply electricity from the main power source like the transformer to the meters of consumer buildings, mobile homes and portable devices. The many sub-categories of this cable provide usability in many circuits that do not exceed a voltage rating of 600 volts.

Thank you for the quick shipping. This cable was wrapped securely and exactly what we needed. We ran electric from our pole to a new barn we built so there could be light. Make sure to use pipe to put it in especially if you do not get it deep. But you should dig at least 4 ft to bury. This is actually the second time we had to run this as we did not put it in pipe or conduit the first time and ended up having a rock pierce it and cause loss of power. Lesson learned spend the extra money so you don’t have to dig up the line and redo everything.
