2.04:
Ramapo 2-2-2 Triplex is a special type of Aluminum URD cable fitted with three Aluminum conductors each of 2 Gauge sizes. The insulators are printed on the surface and the neutral cable stripped for easy identification. In the applications like service entry and secondary underground circuiting, as long as the temperatures do not exceed 90°C and a voltage of 600 volts maximum. When directly buried, the optimal current it transmits is 165 amps but if ducts are used the current drops to 120 amps.

Applications:
2-2-2 Aluminum Underground Distribution Cable specifically designed for underground distribution systems. In extreme environmental conditions, the cross-linked polyethylene is used since it can withstand temperatures of up to 90°C.

Conductors:
They are made of aluminum alloy which are compressed in 1350-H19. Only 99.5% of the conductor is made of aluminum the rest is made of zinc, copper and silicon.

Insulation:
The insulation is made of standard polyethylene or cross-linked polyethylene.
