Description:
1 AWG Kenyon URD wire is a single conductor cable is used for underground secondary power distribution. The aluminum conductor is protected by polyethylene. This allows the cable to be used for underground distribution. The URD cable transmits 175 amps as a direct burial cable. When installed in ducts, it supplies 130 amps. It can transmit up to 600 volts.

Applications:
Kenyon Single Conductor Secondary distribution wire is commonly used in residential settings. It is specifically meant for underground power transmissions this is resistant to rocky obstacles commonly found in these areas. Furthermore it can be used as a direct burial wire which involves direct insertion in to the soil with the use of a conduit or duct for protection. However its performance can be affected in these applications if the maximum temperature rating exceeds 90°C in both wet and dry locations.

Conductors:
The conductors are made of aluminum which are compressed at 1350-H19.

Insulation:
Aluminum URD cable has a cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE) which can withstand high temperatures of up to 90°C.

Features:
• Robust and sturdy insulation
• It is resistant to high temperatures
• 600 volt URD cable
• Moisture and chemical resistant
