We carry out routine tests on our cables which are not destructive in any way. The tests include;

1.Voltage tests on sheath
2.D.C voltage tests on over sheath

4.Spark tests on over sheath

During production we also carry out the following test which are normally potentially destructive;

1.Four hour voltage test
2.Hot set test for XLPE insulation
3.Insulation and over sheath thickness
4.Examination of conductor and dimensions

We carry out type tests in addition to the previous test. These kinds of tests are destructive and are often carried out at the beginning of a cable supply to ascertain its design;

1.on-electrical type tests. These include bending and heat cycle.
2.Electrical type tests. These include testing under fire and mechanical properties.
