    This conductor cable is made of silver plated copper material or an alloy high strength copper with sliver plating. The silver coating on the conductor improves its level of electrical conductivity as silver has a good conductivity of 106 percent that of copper. Also, silver has excellent solderability meaning that it is easy to work on the cable. The maximum working temperature for silver is 250 degrees Celsius, allowing the conductor to be able to perform well in high temperature environment. Silver has excellent crimp contact resistance time.

    Applications
    • Designed for installation that demand voltage of up to 600 volts and locations inhibiting temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius.
    • For use in spacecraft applications
    • This conductor cable is used for spacecraft installations. It is also designed for use in ships, especially where higher levels of shielding are needed. It may be used on the exterior of a ship’s hull. The conductor helps save money when compared to cables that have to be pulled through conduits where intensive labor may be needed. These cables can also be used inboard and they allow the cables to be laid close together while not having to worry about interference from each other.

    Insulation
    • Lo-Flo single layer irradiation cross-linked extruded ETFE
    • Cross linked ETFE has higher strength than the typical ETFE. It is resistant to abrasion and cold flow. This insulation material offer more resistance to radiation effects and has good outgassing characteristics. The low fluorine constructions are intended to help prevent contamination and tarnishing of the conductor. These then help enhance the shelf life of the conductor and the components assembled.

    Jacketing
    • Low fluorine cross-linked, modified ETFE fluoro-polymer
    • The conductor is jacketed with Lo-Flo cross-linked ETFE for enhanced protection from mechanical and environmental damages.

    Shield
    • Silver plated copper
    • A shielding material made of silver coated copper is used to offer protection against electromagnetic interferences.
