Applications: Type G cables are suitable for use in industrial and light- to medium-duty mining applications, heavy-duty service as power suply cable, power cable for mobile and portable electrical equipment at continuous conductor temperature of 90°C. Type G cables may be used in marina (wet) applications. Type G cables are suitable for use on three-phase AC systems where 3 or 4 conductors are needed and grounding is required. Excellent flexibility, resistance to oils, solvents, ozone, aging, and abrasion. Type G Cables have non-wicking rubber fillers(GGC) and are indent-printed for easy identification.

Specifications: Power Cable rated 2000 volts, 90°C dry locations, 75°C wet locations. Conductor sizes 8 AWG through 500 MCM are fully annealed stranded bare copper. Conductors are manufactured with rope lay stranding for maximum flex life. Cable has excellent inpact and abrasion resistance. Cable withstands exposure to oil, acids, alkalies, heat, moisture, sunlight and most chemicals. Temperature -40°C to 90°C. Cable is UL Listed, CSA and MSHA approved and RoHS Compliant. Meets FT-5 Flame Test.

Type G and Type GG-C Mining Cables are industrial power cables rated for use in light to medium duty mining operations, heavy duty service as a power supple cable, or industrial tasks. They may also be used as a power cable for different portable and mobile electrical equipment that runs at a continuous conductor temperature.

Type G cables can be used in wet applications because they are waterproof. They’re rated for use in three-phase AC systems and are resistant to aging, abrasions, ozone, and oils. They are also resistant to alkalies, heat, sunlight, acids, and many types of chemicals. Type GG-C cables additionally make use of non-wicking rubber fillers.

These power cables are rated for up to 2000 volts of power and may be used in both wet and dry locations. They may be used in temperatures that get as low as 40 degrees below zero or as high as 90 degrees.

Type G Industrial Power Cables are almost similar as Type GG – C Industrial Power Cables. Type G cables are rated at 2000 volts and are available in conductor sizes ranging from 8 AWG through 500 MCM.The cable is constructed using fully annealed stranded bare copper conductors. The insulation is provided by premium grade Ethylene Propylene, otherwise known as EPDM.
