Description:
Delgado 4-4 is a Duplex Aluminum URD cable used in underground applications. It comes with one phase conductor and one neutral conductor all which have a 4 AWG gauge size. The underground cable can manage 125 amps of power but when used in ducts it can manage only 90 amps.

Applications:
#4 Delgado wire is designed for secondary underground power transmissions, It can easily reduce the high levels of current in a transformer to up to 600 volts which is safe for use in residential homes. It can be used in temperatures of up to 75°C for the standard polyethylene insulation but for extreme environments the cross-linked polyethylene is used since it can withstand high temperatures of 90°C. It can be used as direct burial cable thanks to the tough materials used in its construction.

The insulation is made of cross-linked polyethylene.
