AL RHH RHW XLP USE 500MCM aluminum conductors are insulated cables that consist of compact stranded Alumaflex® Aluminum alloy. Alumaflex® aluminum alloy provides excellent conductivity while adding strength and resistance to corrosion for a long-lasting product. The Alumaflex® conductors are compact stranded, which reduces the diameter of the conductors, making the cable more maneuverable. This cable is able to function in temperatures up to 90°C. Aluminum alloy conductors are jacketed in a black crosslinked polyethylene coat. The exterior jacket protects the conductors from excessive heat and moisture, abrasion, and corrosion due to sunlight.

AL RHH RHW XLP USE 500MCM cable is a service entrance cable that can carry up to 600 volts. Service entrance cables distribute power from the service drop to an individual residence or building. AL RHH RHW XLP USE 500MCM cable is designed for underground use within an electrical raceway, typically conduit. Conduit is a tube or trough that contains the electrical conductors, protecting them from corrosion, sunlight, and other interferences. Conduit comes in a variety of materials, shapes, and sizes. The best type of conduit will vary depending on the task at hand and the weather and climate conditions of the region where it is to be installed.

Description:
USE-2, RHH, RHW-2 aluminum conductors are insulated cables that consist of compact stranded Alumaflex ®  Aluminum alloy. Alumaflex ® aluminum alloy provides excellent conductivity while adding strength and resistance to corrosion for a long-lasting product. This cable is able to function in temperatures up to 90°C.

Applications:
• 500MCM Aluminum XLP Type USE Cable RHH RHW Wire is a service entrance cable that can carry up to 600 volts. Service entrance cables distribute power from the service drop to an individual residence or building. This cable is designed for underground use within an electrical raceway, typically conduit.

Specifications:
• In accordance with standards set forth by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a regulations and compliance organization established over 100 years ago, this product meets standard 44 for thermoset-insulated cables. Thermo-set insulation is a prepolymer, rubber or plastic-like coating that protects the conductors from excessive moisture, heat, and dryness.
• This product meets UL standard 854 for USE-2 conductors. This standard requires the cable to be resistant to sunlight and be able to work efficiently in temperatures up to 90°C.

Construction:
Conductors: This product contains Alumaflex ® AA-8000 aluminum alloy conductors. Aluminum alloy provides the conductivity and resistance to corrosion you would find in an aluminum conductor, with added strength.
Stranding: Alumaflex ® AA-8000 conductors are compact stranded. Compact stranding reduces the diameter of the conductors, making the cable more maneuverable.
Jacketing: Aluminum alloy conductors are jacketed in a black crosslinked polyethylene coat. The exterior jacket protects the conductors from excessive heat and moisture, abrasion, and corrosion due to sunlight.
