300 MCM Gonzaga Single Conductor Aluminum URD Cable 600V

300 MCM Gonzaga Single Conductor Aluminum URD Cable 600V

Description:
Gonzaga is a single conductor cable used in secondary underground applications and can also work as a service wire. It comes with one phase conductor with a 300 MCM gauge size. As a direct burial underground cable it can manage 355 amps of current but when used in ducts it can manage only 280 amps. It has polyethylene insulation that allows the cable to operate at a maximum temperature of 90°C.

Applications:
This secondary distribution wire is commonly used in residential settings. It is specifically meant for underground power transmissions this is resistant to rocky obstacles commonly found in these areas. Furthermore it can be used as a direct burial wire which involves direct insertion in to the soil with the use of a conduit or duct for protection. However its performance can be affected in these applications if the maximum temperature rating exceeds 90°C in both wet and dry locations.

Conductors:
The conductors are made of aluminum which are compressed at 1350-H19.

Insulation:
Aluminum URD cable has a cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE) which can withstand high temperatures of up to 90°C.

Features:
• Robust and sturdy insulation
• It is resistant to high temperatures
• 600 volt URD cable
• Moisture and chemical resistant

Standards:
• ASTM B-230
• ASTM B-609
• ICEA S-105-692
• RUS ACCEPTED
